Infant Jesus School, Nandbagh, Indore celebrated International Day of Yoga. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. While it is an important source of exercise and healthy activity millions join in and practice on a daily basis. For many, these routines are a way to connect the body, mind and soul in a way that has existed for centuries. The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness.

Infant Jesus School, Nandbagh Colony has its beginning on 1st July 2005 as an answer to impart quality education in an areas mostly inhabited by workers. The growth of Infant Jesus School, Nandbagh and its finding a place of its own among the premier educational institution of the city is the result of able administration and the competent staff members. Diwali Celebration : 2021

Students Welcome Festival of Lights with Rangolis and Diya.
Infant Jesus School, Nandbagh, Indore celebrated Diwali with great zeal. A Rangoli making and Diya Decoration competition marked the celebrations. The students presented instrumental song performance and various cultural items based on “DIPOSTAVA”. Principal, Rev. Sr. Selvam threw light on the pious festival and advised the students to celebrate crackers free Diwali.

Children’s Day or Bal Diwas is celebrated across the country on November 14. The day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India. Jawaharlal Nehru considered children the real strength of a nation and foundation of society. School hold sports events, quiz competitions and other activities to celebrate Children’s Day. Children are presented with toys, sweets and gifts to make the day special for them.

Children’s Day 2021 celebrations will be even more special as they have returned to school after months, following the COVID-19 lockdown and the subsequent closure of schools.
